Breaking a leg is definitely not my favourite way to start a year but am now limping along crutch-free and would like to invite you to "Back on their Legs" an
Back on their Legs.  Contemporary Jewellery by Laura McDonagh, Upholstery and Soft Furnishings by Lucy Fanthorpe.

exhibition that Lucy and I are hosting in Notting Hill from 10th - 15th July 2006. Lucy's own legs have not caused a problem - it is my myself and her beautifully renovated chairs that have inspired the exhibition title !

We are particularly looking forward to relaxing with friends over a drink at the Private View on Wednesday 12th July from 17.00 - 21.00 and would be very pleased if you could join us.

Experimenting on ......

I continue to be fascinated by jewellery that can be worn in different ways to suit your mood on the day, and for those that are too busy to change it around yourselves, am also working on jewellery that moves and changes its appearance by itself.

Interesting materials

Recently I started working with anodised aluminium. I have great fun painting or printing the sheets, then have a unique sheet to form into jewellery. Because of the individuality of the sheets, no 2 pieces will ever be the same.

I can't wait to show you all (well maybe I won't bore you with them ALL) tiny glass balls that I have blown and combined with beautifully knitted silver and gemstones.

I have also started working combining resin with silver and magnets
