With my photography, I enjoy making the ordinary extraordinary, using angle and light to make the viewer see life around them from a different perspective. My passion is modern architecture, abstracting the essential details of the building to show the beauty and power behind the structure, the patterns and lines which sore into the sky, the sunlight in reflective glass etc. However I also enjoy applying these principles to the natural world around us, thereby encouraging people to see the subtle shades of colour and lines in a landscape or the patterns created by a gentle lapping tide.

With much of my work, the creative process has taken place in my eye and the image taken is the finished product. However I also enjoy pushing the boundaries of what is considered a traditional photograph and due to the nature of the process involved, turning it into a one off work of art.

I have had my own photography business for the last 12 years and during this time have enjoyed a variety of commissions ranging from images for the new prospectus at Westminster School in London to enlargements for the Urology Department at Royal Berkshire Hospital; images for corporate communication at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to images for the website for The Retreat in Wokingham. I also enjoy sharing my passion for photography on my photo courses where I can help to develop your photography further. My work is available in a variety of forms - mounted and framed enlargements; handmade greeting cards, christmas cards, picturecards, images of light cards; designer glass coasters. Prices range from £2.75 for a handmade greeting card to £12 for a pack of 4 glass coasters; from £20 for a small mounted enlargement 24x30cm in size to £95 for a large mounted enlargement 50x70cm; from £40 for small framed giclee printed enlargement to £250 for unique one off framed enlargement.
